A new championship match has been announced for AEW Grand Slam on September 25 at Arthur Ashe Stadium on tonight’s Collision.

On tonight’s September 14 AEW Collision there was another championship match announced for the upcoming special AEW Grand Slam editions of Dynamite and Collision.
Officially confirmed, HOOK will defend the FTW Championship against Roderick Strong at the New York City show.
HOOK recently won the FTW Championship back from Chris Jericho at All In London.

Previously announced for AEW Grand Slam, Will Ospreay and Kyle Fletcher will challenge the Young Bucks for the AEW World Tag Team Championship.
Also, Jon Moxley vs Darby Allin with Allin’s future AEW World Title shot on the line.
Nigel McGuinness has also challenged Bryan Danielson to a match for Grand Slam as well, but the official graphics note it will only take place “if” Danielson is medically cleared.

Jon Moxley taking on Darby Allin and the potential ROH throwback between McGuinness and Danielson have been confirmed specifically for the Dynamite edition of Grand Slam.
However, HOOK vs Strong and the tag team title match weren’t specified between Dynamite and Collision as both are being taped on Wednesday, September 25, so those could take place on either as things stand.
