A WWE star has posted their reaction to the announcement that their former partner has signed with TNA Wrestling.

It was made official at TNA’s Final Resolution event on December 9, that former WWE star Trent Seven had officially joined the company.
Prior to his release from WWE in August 2022 Seven had often competed alongside SmackDown star Butch (Pete Dunne) and NXT’s Tyler Bate as British Strong Style.
So, following the announcement that Seven would be competing in the IMPACT Zone full-time, Butch would take to Twitter to post his reaction.

Butch said:

Despite Bate and Seven achieving great success as a tandem; winning NXT and NXT UK Tag Team Championships together, Seven and Butch’s matches alongside each other were far less frequent.
In fact, it’s been well over four years since British Strong Style last competed in a match together, that being a trios match against Imperium in NXT UK on April 2019.

Butch has found himself with little in the way of allies on SmackDown recently, with his Brawling Brutes tag partner Ridge Holland leaving him high and dry on SmackDown in recent weeks.
However, the Brusierweight may be in line to potentially receive some assistance in the near-future, as Tyler Bate has reportedly been discussed for a main roster call-up.
