The TNA Wrestling tapings over the weekend saw former AEW star Jose The Assistant meet with producer Tommy Dreamer.

The tapings took place in Newport, Kentucky and saw a title change for the TNA Digital Media Championship.
It was also noted by Fightful Select that Jose The Assistant, who was released by AEW on April 1, 2024, met with Tommy Dreamer.

The nature of the meeting was “unspecified”, with Fightful Select simply noting that the pair had met.
Joining AEW in 2021, Jose The Assistant first managed Andrade El Idolo, then moved on to La Facción Ingobernable (Rush, Dralístico & Preston Vance).

José had two WWE appearances a year apart in 2011 and 2012 serving as enhancement talent.
His first match saw him defeated by Brodus Clay on WWE Superstars with his second being a two-on-one match where he teamed with Mike Spinner and lost to Ryback on Raw.
He last wrestled on the independent circuit in September 2018 under the name Orion.
