Several names were reportedly let go from TNA Wrestling during Thursday’s (May 30) round of cuts by Anthem.

Per Mike Johnson of PWInsider, there were a number of departures during these cutbacks made by Anthem management.
One of the names released was Dave Sahadi, who had been the Creative Director for TNA since 2019.

He previously held the position of Director for TNA broadcasts for 18 years prior to Anthem owning the promotion. Prior to his time in TNA, Sahadi had worked for WWE, also as a creative director.
Another name reportedly gone from TNA is RD Evans, who was considered the head of creative. PWInsider noted that Evans’ departure happened prior to Thursday’s firings, with the common belief being that Evans made the decision to leave, although some in TNA said his departure was a “mutual agreement”.

PWInsider also noted that there were multiple departures from the promotion’s live events division, with the process described as a “restructuring”.
The report noted that it is believed that none of the wrestling talent were released.
We will continue to provide updates as they become available.
