Following his recent appearances on WWE NXT, an update has been provided on Joe Hendry’s TNA Wrestling contract.

On the July 9 edition of WWE NXT, TNA Wrestling’s Joe Hendry was revealed as Trick Williams’ mystery tag team partner in the main event.
Hendry and Williams picked up the win against NXT Champion Ethan Page and Shawn Spears to continue the ongoing partnership between WWE and TNA.
He then appeared again to join commentary during The Rascalz vs. Gallus six-man tag team match on the July 16 episode of NXT.

Appearing on the latest Talk Is Jericho, Joe Hendry addressed his TNA contract status and goals for the future. On his TNA Wrestling deal, he said:
“We’ve got a while,”
“But because of the working relationship, I really feel like anything is possible.”

On his belief that he will face John Cena during his recently announced retirement tour in 2025, Hendry said:
“I really, with my whole heart, 100 percent believe that’s going to happen,”
“And I don’t just think it’s like the universe is going to give it to me. It’s my job to make that the most compelling story possible for John Cena.”

During a backstage segment with Gallus on the July 16 NXT, Hendry revealed that he likes it on the brand and plans on sticking around.
