The planned match for Scotsman Drew McIntyre at WWE Clash at the Castle 2024 in Glasgow has been revealed.

McIntyre briefly became WWE World Heavyweight Champion on Night 2 of WrestleMania 40 in April 2024, moments before Damian Priest cashed in the Money in the Bank briefcase after McIntyre was attacked by CM Punk.
Since then, McIntyre and Priest haven’t seen eye-to-eye, with the Judgment Day member recently slamming McIntyre for complaining and whining.
The pair will, inevitably, cross paths in a WWE ring and Dave Meltzer revealed when that is likely to happen in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter.

According to Meltzer, the match is expected to take place in June 2024 in McIntyre’s home country, stating:
The world title match with Damian Priest defending against Drew McIntyre is expected to take place at Clash at the Castle on 6/15 in Glasgow, Scotland.
It’s notable because that angle has been started with Priest positioned as the babyface, but in Scotland, no doubt McIntyre will be the strong babyface.

WWE Clash at the Castle takes place on June 15 at the OVO Hydro in Glasgow, Scotland.
There has been a negative reaction reported in mainstream media over the ticket prices for the upcoming PLE with the cheapest tickets costing £300 ($375) each.
Damian Priest recently re-signed with WWE with it being revealed that it “came down the wire“.
McIntyre also recently signed a new WWE deal, which was described as a three-year “big money” contract.
