There has been an update on Ricochet’s WWE Clash at the Castle status following reports he could make more appearances for the company.
The former Intercontinental Champion was seemingly written off WWE television on this week’s Raw, when Bron Breakker delivered a Powerslam to him onto a car windshield.
This came days after Ricochet had given notice to the company that he planned on leaving at the end of his contract, which expires in July.
PWInsider provided a follow up report on Ricochet’s absence, noting that there had been pitches for Ricochet to return to television for one last appearance, likely against Bron Breakker.
However, for those hoping that would be a match that ended up being added to Clash at the Castle, it seems that’s not the case.
Per Fightful Select, Ricochet did not make the trip to Scotland for the Clash at the Castle event this weekend, though his fiancée Samantha Irvin did.
Ricochet is under contract until July, so could always be asked to do more appearances, though that was not scheduled as of June 10.
