An insane new record set by the American Nightmare Cody Rhodes at this year’s Survivor Series event has been revealed.
Since his return to WWE at WrestleMania 38, Cody Rhodes has been one of, if not the top star in all of WWE, and the company is now seeing a return on their investment.
Cody was the captain of his War Games team at Survivor Series, where he teamed with Seth Rollins, Jey Uso, Sami Zayn and a returning Randy Orton to face the Judgment Day and Drew McIntyre.
In an update from Fightful Select, there were some within the company who claimed that Cody’s merchandise sales in Chicago were the highest at an event in the history of the company.
When Fightful asked the company in an official capacity, it wasn’t denied.
Cody is seemingly on track for a rematch with Roman Reigns at WrestleMania 40 next year, with him declaring himself for the 2024 Royal Rumble match.
Rhodes is currently in a rivalry with Shinsuke Nakamura, with the two set to face off on next week’s episode of Raw.
The segment between the two on this week’s episode of Raw had no producer listed.
