CM Punk’s first match back in WWE following his return at Survivor Series in Chicago has been officially announced.
Punk returned at the end of WWE Survivor Series in Chicago, and he has since gone face to face with many of the top stars in the company, teasing potential matches for his upcoming run.
On last night’s (December 11) episode of Raw, CM Punk declared himself for the 2024 Royal Rumble match, which many believed would be his return to the ring.
However, that is not going to be the case, as the Kia Forum has announced on Twitter today that Punk will face off against ‘Dirty’ Dominik Mysterio at the upcoming WWE live event at the Forum on December 30.
This match will mark Punk’s first match in WWE since the 2014 Royal Rumble match, and his first match altogether since AEW All In at Wembley Stadium, where he defeated Samoa Joe.
Punk teased a face off against the Judgment Day on this week’s Raw, when Damian Priest teased cashing in on him if he was to win the World Heavyweight Championship.
Punk and Cody Rhodes are currently the only two men announced for the 2024 Royal Rumble match.
JUST ADDED! @CMPunk will face ‘Dirty’ Dominik Mysterio at the @WWE Live Holiday Tour on Saturday, December 30!
