WWE star Zoey Stark wants to finish her story with WWE Hall of Famer Trish Stratus that started in 2023, in 2024.
In 2023, Trish Stratus made her return to the ring to team with Lita and Becky Lynch to defeat Damage CTRL at WWE WrestleMania 39.
However, Stratus soon grew jealous of Lynch and turned on both Becky and Lita to kickstart a rivalry with “The Man.” During the feud, the legend became aligned with Zoey Stark as her protege.
At WWE Payback, Becky Lynch defeated Trish Stratus in a Steel Cage match to blow off their rivalry. After the match, Stratus talked down and shoved Stark, leading to Zoey laying her out. Fans have not seen Trish since.
Appearing on the Busted Open Radio Holiday Party, Zoey Stark was asked to look back on 2023 for herself. She answered:
“What a whirlwind, right? Started the year off at the Royal Rumble, then getting to work with Trish Stratus and Becky Lynch, having two women’s world title matches at Saudi and then the other one at Survivor Series, I feel like I’ve accomplished so much within this first year, and I’m just getting started, so I’m excited for 2024,”
When asked who she would want to work with in the new year, Zoey replied:
“I really want to finish my story with Trish Stratus. I really want to do something with her.”
“So that would be a lot of fun to figure out where it goes. That’s exactly what I want to see, so hopefully we can get that to happen.”
Zoey Stark will team with Shayna Baszler to face Tegan Nox and Natalya on the January 1, 2024 Day 1 edition of WWE Raw.
