Cody Rhodes has named a hilarious WWE moment as the highlight for him in 2023, in addition to having won the Royal Rumble of course.

On the December 25 edition of WWE Raw, it may have been a Best Of episode of the show, however there were bits of new interviews as well.
With hosts Jackie Redmond and Peter Rosenberg doing the honors for the ‘Christmas Day’ special, they spoke to guests like Kofi Kingston, Xavier Woods, Seth Rollins, Becky Lynch and Cody Rhodes.
When asked about his highlight of 2023, the American Nightmare Cody Rhodes shared a pair of moments.
Not only did he name winning the 2023 Royal Rumble as a highlight of the year, another made the top list.

Cody Rhodes said:
“I’d say though maybe an under appreciated gem… was the post-match press conference at Fastlane with Main Event Jey Uso.
“I love it because it was really unexpected. I always try and be polished and ready and straight forward when I do those press conferences but it was a lot of fun and I’m glad we did it.”

You can see the entire hilarious press conference segment below from after WWE Fastlane with Cody Rhodes and Jey Uso.
Full disclosure: they may have had some libations on the bus before the appearance!

Elsewhere, Cody posted on Twitter that he had enjoyed seeing everyone’s American Nightmare gifts as he dropped a casual pic.
Keen observers would note that Rhodes appears to be on a private jet and has not only a gorgeous Rolex but also a very cool Grogu Christmas sweater.
Things will be decidedly less adorable than Baby Yoda however at Madison Square Garden for WWE’s Holiday Live show on December 26, 2023.

Not only will CM Punk have his first match back in WWE in over nine years, taking on ‘Dirty’ Dominik Mysterio, but also a brutal night is likely ahead for Cody himself.
Rhodes is set to take on Shinsuke Nakamura in a Bull Rope match as their rivalry continues to become deeply personal.
