A popular WWE star has opened up on recently re-signing with the company and what they hope to accomplish.
WWE has been in re-signing mode over the past few weeks, with numerous top stars recently renewing their contracts with the company.
One of those names is Bayley, who currently performs on the SmackDown brand as the leader of Damage CTRL.
Speaking to Cageside Seats, Bayley was asked about her decision to re-sign with the company.
She said:
“There’s so much I wanna do for the wrestling world. Of course there are other places that I can do that and give what I have, but to me, the dream from when I was 10 years old was to do [‘this’ several times over] and all with WWE. I haven’t done all those things. I don’t wanna walk away without doing the things that I said I was gonna do, or at least giving 150% of me trying to get those things done.
Bayley was the first woman to declare for the 2024 Women’s Royal Rumble match, which she is among the favourites to win.
Speaking about potentially winning the Rumble, she said:
“Everybody knows that when you win the Royal Rumble, you get to point at the sign and the fireworks go off. That’s the stuff you dream about. I’m excited to feel that. I wanna feel that and I wanna get that singles match at WrestleMania.”
Bayley is set to take on Bianca Belair on tonight’s SmackDown show.
