A WWE star has opened up regarding The Rock’s WWE return, stating that they believe it’s a situation that is positive for everyone.

The Rock’s recent WWE return had initially been greeted by hostility from many fans due to the threat it posed to Cody Rhodes’ WrestleMania chances.
Now, however, with The American Nightmare confirmed for the main event spot in Philadelphia it seems as if an enjoyment can be had at The Great One rolling back the clock in this new heel run.

This was evident on SmackDown (February 16) where both anti-Rock and pro-Rock chants could be heard as the Hollywood mega star cut a scathing promo on the WWE fans and officially joined The Bloodline faction.
With an exciting Road to WrestleMania ahead, it seems as if it’s not just fans who are eager to see how Rock’s return pans out as those within the WWE locker room share that seem feeling.
Speaking to Inside The Ropes, The Judgment Day’s Damian Priest spoke of his own personal investment in Rock’s return, and how it has returned the feeling of watching on as a fan – excited to see where the story goes.

Priest said:
“Everybody’s so enamored with what’s going to happen, and I think that’s been missing for a while… Everybody’s spoiled nowadays with social media and whatnot, and this idea of, ‘Give me what I want right now or else.’
“And ‘I need to know everything; I need you to spoil everything for me right now.’ But that’s not happening. In fact, we don’t know what’s going to happen, and that’s what’s driving everybody mad, and I love it.”
“I don’t even know what’s happening, and it’s exciting. I feel like a full-fledged fan again. It’s the best feeling, and I think this is good for everyone.”

It’s not just members of the WWE locker room who have their eyes on what Rock will do next, as a pair of AEW stars have also commented on The People’s Champions’ latest appearance on SmackDown.
