A WWE Hall of Famer has been officially removed from the company’s roster following their recent contract expiration.

It was reported earlier this week that WWE Hall of Famer Jerry ‘The King’ Lawler’s contract with the company had expired.
It was later clarified by PWInsider that Lawler’s broadcast deal with the company had expired, with him no longer among the company’s announce teams, though he remains under a legends contract with the company.

Lawler himself also spoke about how he believes his career with WWE to be ‘over’, and we now seemingly have more confirmation that is the case.
WWE recently made alterations to it’s official roster page on WWE.com, with Lawler now being officially removed from the page he was previously listed on until yesterday.

In his place, a new page for newly debuted NXT star Je’Von Evans has been added, along with profiles for Tyson Dupont and Tyriek Igwe.
Lawler last appeared on WWE television back in November, where he had a hand in choosing the participants for the Iron Survivor Match qualifiers on NXT.
