WWE star Naomi has made an amendment to the Bloodline family tree, following this week’s edition of SmackDown.
Naomi was in action on Friday’s (May 10) show, facing off against Nia Jax in a first round match for the Queen of the Ring tournament.
Nia Jax ultimately picked up the victory, pinning Naomi to advance in this year’s tournament.
Naomi has now taken to Twitter to react to this loss, sharing an edited version of the Anoa’i Bloodline family tree graphic shared by The Rock at the WrestleMania 40 Kickoff event.
In the image, which you can see below, Nia Jax’s spot on the family tree has been crossed out.
Both Naomi and Nia Jax are considered part of the Bloodline family, with Naomi joining the Fatu branch after marrying Jimmy Uso (Jonathan Fatu) in 2014.
While Nia Jax isn’t directly related to the Anoa’i family by blood, she’s the daughter of Joseph Fanene, who’s cousins with The Rock’s grandfather Fanene Anderson (Peter Maivia).
Peter Maivia and Amituana’i Anoaʻi (Roman Reigns’ grandfather) were considered brothers after performing a ritual called a “blood oath”, which is why the likes of The Rock, Ava, Nia Jax and Tamina are considered part of the Anoa’i bloodline.
The Bloodline faction in WWE has underwent a number of changes recently, with Tama Tonga and Tonga Loa (Tanga Loa) aligning themselves with Solo Sikoa.
