A WWE faction has returned to television after three months away, however they weren’t exactly short of things to do during their absence.

To close tonight’s episode of WWE NXT, Tony D’Angelo was mid-celebration after besting Charlie Dempsey for the Heritage Cup Championship.
However the celebration wasn’t shown very long as there was complete mayhem backstage that the show cut to cover.
There was a surprise return from Gallus who appeared to have taken out all of the challengers for Oba Femi’s North American Championship – Ivar, Wes Lee and Josh Briggs.
Gallus gave the ominous message that this was just the start before the show ended.

The faction consisting of Wolfgang, Joe Coffey and Mark Coffey had been off NXT TV since February, however still had a big role to play in WWE’s shows.
Gallus took part in helping Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson prepare for WrestleMania 40 leading up to the big event, working in training matches with him in LA.
The Rock competed in his first official match in eleven years on night of WrestleMania 40, when he teamed with Roman Reigns to face off against Cody Rhodes and Seth ‘Freakin’ Rollins.

The Rock thanked Gallus publicly on social media and even noted that he will see them down the road.
Elsewhere on tonight’s NXT, Lash Legend and Sol Ruca qualified to participate in the ladder match at NXT Battleground to determine the first ever Women’s North American Champion.
