An update has emerged on whether there’s backstage heat on a particular WWE star regarding a recent social media post.

The post, now deleted, by Tiffany Stratton led to a social media backlash, followed by rumors that Stratton’s Queen of the Ring Tournament match had been pulled from tonight’s SmackDown.
Her match against Bianca Belair was not originally added to WWE’s website preview of SmackDown at the same time as the other matches, but was then added a couple of hours later.
Details have now emerged on the Tiffany Stratton situation and how it affects her Queen of the Ring Tournament match.
According to PW Insider, the rumors that she was “in trouble” over the now-deleted Instagram Story are reportedly untrue, with it being noted that “several credible sources” informed PW Insider that “she’s absolutely not in trouble for anything internally within WWE”.

Her status in the company was described as “unchanged” per the report. Neither Stratton – nor WWE or anyone within the company – have publicly commented on the circumstances surrounding the post.
Furthermore, her scheduled match against Bianca Belair is still on the card for this evening’s episode of WWE SmackDown and is listed on the official page for the show.
The other SmackDown quarter-final is Jade Cargill vs Nia Jax, with the winners to collide next week and go on to face either Lyra Valkyria or IYO SKY from Raw in the tournament final at WWE King & Queen of the Ring.

Stratton made her main roster debut in the January 2024 Royal Rumble match, which served as her full call-up to the main roster.
She signed with WWE in August 2021 and is a former NXT Women’s Champion.
Recently, it was revealed that Stratton was behind the change to her WWE theme music, telling fans to “get used to it.”
