Stone Cold Steve Austin last wrestled at WWE WrestleMania 38 and defeated Kevin Owens in the Rattlesnake’s first match in 19 years.

The reaction to the match has left fans hoping for another match from Austin but to no avail.
The season premiere of A&E’s Biography: WWE Legends which aired last night followed Austin during his return for WrestleMania 38 in 2022.

The program ended with Austin being asked if he would return for another match, with the WWE Hall of Famer saying:
“I walked away. I’m happy with what I did.
“There’s people who have done more or lasted longer.
“I had a pretty good run and I’m pretty happy with it. So, I ain’t got nothing to prove to nobody”.

Austin is a WWE Triple Crown Champion having held the WWF Championship, Intercontinental Championship and Tag Team Championship on multiple occasions.
He is also a former Million Dollar Champion and was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2009.
It was recently revealed that Austin had been approached to appear at WrestleMania 40 in April 2024.

According to the news story, WWE and Austin hadn’t been able to “reach a financial agreement.”
The Undertaker would appear during the Cody Rhodes vs Roman Reigns main event, chokeslamming The Rock.
Taker would later reveal that he received a text asking him if he would be part of WrestleMania 40 on the Tuesday before the event.
