Mark Henry reacts to AJ Styles faking WWE retirement

Mark Henry has reacted to WWE star AJ Styles’ fake retirement segment on Friday Night SmackDown, with comparisons being drawn to his famous segment.

AJ Styles took to the ring to address his wrestling future during this week’s (May 31) show. After inviting the Good Brothers to the ring, Styles indicated that he planned to step away from the ring.
He then called Undisputed WWE Universal Champion Cody Rhodes, who he eventually dropped with a clothesline, before continuing the beat down outside the ring.
Many fans have drawn comparisons between this segment and Mark Henry’s famous fake-retirement in June 2013, which led to Henry attacking then-WWE Champion John Cena.

Mark Henry recently confirmed that he was leaving AEW, with the former WWE World Heavyweight Champion’s AEW contract expiring at the end of May.
