WWE Raw General Manager Adam Pearce has sent a PSA following accounts of fans being scammed by accounts posing as Jey Uso and Seth Rollins.
In a post on Sunday, June 2 Pearce took to Twitter to warn fans to be wary of individuals posing as WWE stars in order to get money from unsuspecting fans.
With many scam accounts posing as real ones online, Pearce sent a lengthy message imploring people to pay close attention to the details of any WWE star they may be in communication with – specifically the spelling of their names.
Pearce expressed sympathy for those affected, but reminded everyone his role as WWE Raw GM does not cover following up on scams.
Pearce wrote:
If you have given money online to the likes of “Jay Usso”, “Seth Rollens”, etc., I feel for you.

I’m sorry that you got duped, but I can’t help.
Whatever job duties you believe I have, police work isn’t one of them.
Don’t give strangers money online.

This is not the first time Pearce has sent warnings out to fans in the wake of social media scams, having also attempted to do the same following similar incidents involving fake WWE accounts last Summer.
We would like to also advise fans to ignore or block any accounts of this kind that seem suspicious and reach out to you requesting payment of any kind, do your due diligence and be safe online.
