A WWE star is currently sidelined with a ‘serious’ knee injury amid their ongoing absence following a dropped storyline.
In recent weeks, the NXT storyline between Arianna Grace and Gigi Dolin was seemingly dropped, with Arianna moving onto other things on TV, while Dolin was absent from television.
Gigi’s absence had led to a lot of speculation about her status, and we now have an update on her absence.
Per Fightful Select, Gigi is currently sidelined with a ‘serious’ knee injury, with her recently being seen with a knee brace.
Dolin had not been present at NXT tapings in several weeks, with a majority of her vignettes with Arianna Grace being filmed outside the WWE Performance Center.
The segments were said to have been used as an avenue to keep her to television while injured.
Dolin as not wrestled since the March 12 episode of NXT, where she was defeated by Arianna Grace to kick off their storyline where she was forced to undergo a makeover.
