A WWE star with an expiring contract is reportedly ‘extremely close or has come to terms’ with a new contract with the company.
Several WWE stars have contracts that are set to expire over the coming weeks and months, but it seems as though one name is set to stay with the company.
Chad Gable has been a part of one of the highlight storylines on Raw in recent weeks, with him set to challenge Sami Zayn for the Intercontinental Championship at Clash at the Castle in Glasgow, Scotland this Saturday.
However, Gable’s contract was reportedly set to expire last Friday, with the Olympian not yet having signed a new deal, but that seems to no longer be the case.
Per PWInsider Elite (via WrestlePurists), Gable is either extremely close or has come to terms with the company, and is set to continue with WWE going forward.
It is not yet 100% confirmed, but everyone in the company is working under the belief that he is staying with WWE.
