Ahead of the Money In The Bank PLE, WWE SmackDown star Carmelo Hayes has been rewarded by a fan for pinning Randy Orton.
On the June 21 edition of WWE SmackDown, Carmelo Hayes defeated Randy Orton and Tama Tonga to qualify for the Men’s Money In The Bank Ladder Match.
This marked Melo’s biggest pinfall victory of his WWE run so far by pinning a former 14-time WWE World Champion in Orton.
On July 4, Carmelo Hayes took to social media when he arrived in Toronto to reveal that a fan rewarded him for pinning Randy Orton. He wrote:
Just got free food at the airport. Bro said “It’s free, you pinned Randy Orton. You’re Him.”

Hayes will face Andrade, LA Knight, Jey Uso, Chad Gable and Drew McIntyre in the Men’s Money In The Bank Ladder Match this Saturday, July 6 at WWE Money In The Bank PLE.
