Ahead of the Money In The Bank PLE, WWE star Bron Breakker has reflected on his NXT partnership with Baron Corbin.
In early 2024, Bron Breakker and Baron Corbin formed a tag team named “The Wolf Dogs.” The duo went on to win the 2024 Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic and the NXT Tag Team Championships.
After losing the gold to Axiom and Nathan Frazer, both men were brought up to the main roster with Corbin now on SmackDown, while Breakker was drafted to the Raw brand.
Speaking to Cameron Hawkins of The Ringer, Bron Breakker reflected on his run with Baron Corbin in NXT. Recalling the two immediately “hitting it off,” he said:
“Baron and I had hit it off from the get-go. As soon as he came down to NXT, we hit it off immediately.”
“It was really cool for me to be able to get to work with him because obviously, it brought out a different side of me where I was being a little bit more entertaining, just being funny, just goofing off. We both were just loving it and having a great time.”
Bron Breakker is scheduled to challenge Sami Zayn for the Intercontinental Championship this Saturday, July 6 at WWE Money In The Bank.
