Giulia may not have a concrete start date on WWE television, but she already has her eyes on a potential feud.
Having made her first on-screen appearance in WWE at NXT Stand & Deliver over WrestleMania 40 weekend, Giulia has remained true to her promise to help Rossy Ogawa establish Marigold in Japan before starting with her new home.
With ‘a little time left’ in Marigold, Giulia has commented on a potential opponent while talking to Abema, saying:
“I don’t want people to compare Iyo and me just based on the Ryogoku match. The next time I see Iyo Sky, I think it will be on the opposite side of the ring.”
Iyo Sky faced and defeated Utami Hayashishita at Marigold Summer Destiny on July 13 at Ryogoku Kokugikan in Tokyo, Japan.
An injury suffered by Giulia at Marigold’s first show saw plans for her to become the inaugural Marigold Women’s Champion put on ice.
At the July 13 Marigold Summer Destiny show, Sareee defeated Giulia to become the first Marigold World Championship.
In WWE, Sky has held the WWE Women’s Championship and the NXT Women’s Championship.
She is also a two-time WWE Women’s Tag Team Champion with her Damage CTRL teammate Dakota Kai and a former NXT Women’s Tag Team Champion with Zoey Stark.
WWE NXT Women’s Champion Roxanne Perez dropped Giulia’s name during a discussion about future contenders for her title.
