WWE’s Bayley has opened up on her role as a locker room leader and revealed the mentors she’s had in her time with the company.

Bayley signed with WWE in December 2012 and has featured on NXT, WWE Raw and SmackDown becoming a Grand Slam Champion.
She has also risen to the role of locker room leader, something that she discussed in a recent interview with The Angle with Joey Karni.

Speaking about her feelings of being respected in the WWE locker room, she also revealed the mentors over her career, saying:
“It feels good. I think I’ve had a lot of help in navigating on how to do this.
“My first couple of years on the main roster, I was still NXT Women’s Champion and I got to work with Naomi, Tamina, & Natalya.
“I really got to see what was right and what was wrong and how to not only look out for yourself but to look out for the girls.

We’re stronger together, we really are. We look out for each other. But those girls specifically, those three, really taught me how to be a leader…”
In July 2024, it was revealed that Natalya had signed a new deal with WWE after much speculation that she would become a free agent.
Tamina was recently removed from the internal WWE roster with a subsequent report confirming she would not be used on screen moving forward.
At WWE SummerSlam on August 3, 2024, Bayley lost the WWE Women’s Championship to Nia Jax, with highlights from the match below this news story.
