A former WWE show host got pretty heated while talking about one of the colleagues he worked with during his time with the company.

Matt Camp, who was let go by WWE earlier this year, had worked as a co-host for shows like WWE’s The Bump, Raw Talk, Talking Smack and other digital shows.
He’s now told the story of how he didn’t get along with one of the hosts he worked with during that time, that being Megan Morant.
Morant has worked as a backstage interviewer on WWE’s main shows, but is now mainly a host for the aforementioned digital projects

On his show The Wrestling Matt, Camp said:
“I tried to help her, she didn’t want the help. S**t, I’ll go further, Michael Cole was checking in with me on how she was doing, and I would have to tell him, ‘Hmm, she doesn’t really want the help’. Now I’m not there anymore and she is, so call that what you will.
“No, we did not have chemistry. I knew it. And by the way, I tried to help. I wanted her to get better. Initially, she wanted to get better. ‘Hey, you’re gonna be in town for this community event, why don’t you come and sit backstage and watch Raw Talk, we’ll show you everything we do’. ‘Hey, you’re still here, why don’t you come stay around for The Bump this week’. ‘Hey that’d be cool if we put you on the show, and you can do this’. And those things happened.
“And I talked to Cole, and I said, ‘Hey, if she wants to keep coming around, I’d be happy to have her around, she could shadow, she could learn from the best in Jackie (Redmond), we can show her the ropes, it’s good to be around these things’. And she was into it, and that continued, and I encouraged it.

“”And then they made the call, ‘Megan’s the number two to Kayla (Braxton) on SmackDown, Jackie’s moving, we’re gonna take Megan off the road, she’ll be a Stamford person with me and Ryan (Pappolla), and now she’ll be with you on those shows. She’s gonna be with you on those three shows’.
“”Okay. I wasn’t thrilled, because I was losing Kayla, but I got it. We’re gonna make this work. Let’s try hard. And it didn’t. It didn’t work. And the trying stopped. And the conversations I tried to have to improve things – (motions going in one ear and out the other). So no, we had no chemistry, and that’s what happened.
“”You don’t always get what you want, you try to make the best of the situation, but I can only help so much. And now that show (The Bump) doesn’t exist anymore, so… I didn’t wanna talk about that for the longest time, I’ll be straight up with you.

“”Let me add one more thing, because it needs to be said. I talk to you about the people that reached out to me when I got let go. People that I didn’t talk to on a regular basis. Kevin Owens, Drew McIntyre, Byron Saxton called me. I don’t need to say everybody, but the people I worked with closely, who didn’t know it was happening, or did know or whatever, reached out. People I didn’t even like reached out. Kayla and I talked a bunch. I still talk to Jackie all the time. You name it, people reached out.
“”You know who never said a word to me? This needs to be said, because I’m kinda tired of this s**t. Megan never said a word to me. I got let go, that show went on the air Wednesday. Not a f**king text. Nothing. Nada. So remember that when you help people out – remember that.
“I am more than willing to help people out, I love getting questions from people about broadcasting, I love getting emails, and I try to answer as much as I can. Whether I know the people, if a friend reaches out to me, whatever it may be. You know why? Because I had those questions coming up. I had those people that I could lean on. ‘Hey, can you give me some advice, what am I supposed to do here?’ That whole thing of like, you meet them going up and on your way down you see those same people? I try to remember that, and it’s a very, very, very good thing to remember.

“”And I’m sure this is gonna cause some s**t on the internet, and I don’t really care because I don’t work there anymore, and I don’t talk to her, and she clearly has no interest in talking to me even though she was given help.
“”And she can deny all this s**t and whatever, I don’t care. It’s the truth, and enough people know that. People I care about know that answer, people she works with know that answer, because I said it before I left. And you know what, if you wanna connect those dots, I’ve been trying to do it since February. It’s probably true.
“”But I know that I’m gonna continue to help people that wanna put in the effort, that give a s**t about trying to be better. I’ll always keep doing that. One person who decided to not be appreciative of that is not gonna change my ways.”

Camp, as noted, no longer works for WWE, while Morant is still a host for shows like Raw Talk, SmackDown LowDown and NXT PLE pre-shows.
