A WWE star has called out Cody Rhodes for being the true “bad guy” in his much discussed pro wrestling “story”
17 years on from his WWE debut in 2007, Cody Rhodes finally became the undisputed face of the company at WrestleMania 40 – defeating Roman Reigns for the WWE Championship and finishing his ‘story’.
While the WWE fans have rallied behind The American Nightmare since he re-joined the company in 2022 from AEW, one of Rhodes’ SmackDown colleagues is seemingly not convinced Rhodes is in fact the hero.
Taking to Twitter, Grayson Waller posted a picture of Rhodes and Kevin Owens from last week’s SmackDown (August 16), along with the following message:

The image Waller posted came from after his match with Owens on SmackDown, where Rhodes fought off Waller and Austin Theory who were attacking The Prizefighter after the bell.
After Rhodes saved Owens there was a slightly tense exchange between the two, perhaps teasing some dissension in their friendship ahead of their upcoming Undisputed WWE Championship match at Bash in Berlin.
