A new faction name was unveiled on tonight’s August 12 edition of WWE Raw after several appearances together in recent weeks.
After coming together as of late, a new trio in the women’s division has finally gained an official faction name.
‘The Pure Fusion Collective’ will be the name of the group consisting of Shayna Baszler, Sonya Deville and Zoey Stark.
Baszler and Stark had a tag team match on tonight’s show, taking on IYO SKY and Kairi Sane of Damage CTRL after the groups have had run-ins over the past several weeks.
The match ended up being a no contest after current WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions Alba Fyre and Isla Dawn interfered.
Elsewhere in faction name news, it was confirmed that Chad Gable is letting Otis, Akira Tozawa and Maxxine Dupri keep the ‘Alpha Academy’ name.
With Michael Cole on commentary noting that Gable gave them the name, the trio will still be known under that moniker despite the fact the Academy is bust with Gable leaving them.
