Here’s what happened with Cody Rhodes and Randy Orton after this week’s (July 12) edition of Friday Night SmackDown went off the air.
Both Orton and Rhodes have recently been battling Solo Sikoa’s version of the Bloodline faction. Sikoa gained momemtum at Money in the Bank after pinning the Undisputed WWE Champion in six-man tag-team action.D
On Friday’s edition of SmackDown, Cody Rhodes stated that he wants to face Sikoa at SummerSlam, before being attacked by the Bloodline.
After Randy Orton ran down to make the save, the group split their attention, with Sikoa continuing to attack Cody, while the rest of the Bloodline slammed Randy Orton through the ringside announcer’s table.
The show went off the air with Solo Sikoa once again wearing the Ula Fala, which he previously said owning makes him Tribal Chief.
WWE has now shared a video showing Cody Rhodes and Randy Orton after the live broadcast.
In the video, which you can watch below, Cody Rhodes helped to carry Randy Orton to the back following this attack.
Solo Sikoa recently stated that he intends to win back Undisputed WWE Championship, which Roman Reigns dropped to Cody Rhodes at WrestleMania 40.
