WWE Women’s Champion Bayley has commented on Nia Jax’s ‘BBL Bayley’ insult from last night’s episode of SmackDown.
Nia Jax was victorious in the 2024 King of the Ring tournament back in May, which entitled her to a WWE Women’s Championship match at SummerSlam in Cleveland next month.
With Bayley keeping ahold of her title, she will be the one to face off with Nia on the show.
On last night’s SmackDown show, Nia and Bayley had a face to face promo, where they discussed their pasts with each other dating back to NXT in 2015.
During the segment, Nia made one comment towards Bayley that got fans talking online, when she said:
“I know you’re not ‘the hugger’ I injured in 2017… What are you now, ‘BBL Bayley’?”
Taking to Twitter following the show, Bayley responded to Nia’s comments from the show, when she simply wrote:

Nia Jax picked up a victory over Michin on the show, before she laid out Bayley after the match, which saw Tiffany Stratton tease cashing in her Money In The Bank contract.
