The Rock’s real life daughter has returned to Twitter after some online wrestling ‘fans’ took things way too far earlier this month.

WWE star Ava, real name Simone Johnson and real-life daughter of The Rock, had to delete her Twitter page earlier this month after receiving death threats regarding a storyline.
An NXT star in her own right known on-screen as Ava, she had previously taken abuse online as passionate fans inappropriately targeted her with their frustrations about The Rock potentially taking Cody Rhodes’ presumed place in the WrestleMania 40 main event.

Ava tweeted on February 5:
“can ya’ll just leave me out of this ffs i’m busy running a SHOW
“death threats over a situation i have nothing to do with … bffr”

The comment about running a show was a reference to her on-screen position as the new NXT General Manager.
The death threats on the other hand were in response to WWE fans’ outrage over concerns for how the WrestleMania 40 main event was being booked to feature The Rock vs. Roman Reigns.

Even The Rock himself addressed the issue on the Pat McAfee show, noting about the issue:
“By the way, she’s also got death threats. It’s crazy.
“C’mon guys, we’re all in this thing, and by the way, what happens in the middle of the ring and on these storylines, don’t forget that, again, inside baseball, outside the ring, we all talk.”

However now that tempers have cooled after it has been confirmed that the WrestleMania 40 main event will be Roman Reigns vs. Cody Rhodes, Ava has been able to make a return to social media.
With her Twitter account re-activated sometime over the past few days, hopefully no more ‘fan’ behavior will mean she has to deactivate again.
Ava continued to portray her on-screen role as NXT GM, still appearing during her social media hiatus, including this week when she was tasked at breaking up a brawl backstage.
