The World Heavyweight Championship match for GUNTHER at the WWE Bash In Berlin 2024 premium live event has been revealed.
On tonight’s August 5 WWE Raw, a returning star opened the show was on hand for a very important moment.
Ludwig Kaiser returned on tonight’s Raw to make the ring announcement for his Imperium leader and the brand new WWE World Heavyweight Champion, GUNTHER.
After Kaiser’s opening, the segment would also play host to the return of another familiar face to WWE fans.
After GUNTHER mentioned that he was prepared for absolutely anything and could not be caught off guard, out came SmackDown’s Randy Orton.
GUNTHER immediately admitted that he was wrong when he said he couldn’t be caught off guard because he was surprised to see Randy Orton.
Orton would go on to tell GUNTHER that the only reason GUNTHER got a title shot at SummerSlam because he beat Orton at King of the Ring, and reminded fans and GUNTHER that Orton’s shoulders weren’t actually both pinned to the mat when GUNTHER pinned Orton to win that match.
Orton would go on to suggest that at Bash in Berlin, he should challenge GUNTHER for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship.
GUNTHER would accept, saying that the finish not being clean at King of the Ring left a stain on his record, but in Berlin, he would not lose.
Ludwig Kaiser would go on to have a match against Sheamus afterwards in his return effort.
