Tony Khan makkes announcement regarding AEW Dynamite

Celebrating five years of AEW, Tony Khan has announced an overrun for this week’s upcoming episode of Dynamite ahead of Double or Nothing.

May 15, 2019 marked the day WarnerMedia and AEW announced their deal for a weekly television show with May 25 of that year seeing the first Double or Nothing pay-per-view.
To celebrate this, Tony Khan announce an overrun for the May 22, 2024 episode of AEW Dynamite, tweeting:

Overruns for AEW Dynamite aren’t a rare occurrence, but Tony Khan announcing one in advance isn’t something that happens every week.
Among the matches on this week’s AEW Dynamite is the team of Will Ospreay & Orange Cassidy taking on Trent Beretta & Roderick Strong.
Ospreay faces Strong for his Intercontinental Championship on the May 26 Double Or Nothing PPV, with Cassidy facing Beretta elsewhere on the show.
HOOK, Bryan Keith and Katsuyori Shibata face off in an FTW Championship Eliminator with the winner going on to face Chris Jericho at AEW Double or Nothing.

Kyle O’Reilly faces Malakai Black, with Black heading to Double or Nothing to take on TNT Champion Adam Copeland in a Barbed Wire Steel Cage Match.
Nick Wayne will face Swerve Strickland ahead of Strickland’s AEW World Championship match against Christian Cage, while Satnam Singh faces Team AEW member Bryan Danielson.
Also, Toni Storm teams with Mariah May to take on Harley Cameron & Saraya with AEW Women’s Champion Storm facing Serena Deeb at Double or Nothing.
