Bryan Danielson may have to contend with The Elite at AEW Double or Nothing, but he’s got to deal with Satnam Singh on Dynamite.
At Double Or Nothing, The Elite made up of Matthew & Nicholas Jackson, Jack Perry & Kazuchika Okada will take on Team AEW, which consists of Bryan Danielson Cash Wheeler, Dax Harwood and Darby Allin.
Before the pay-per-view this Saturday though, The Elite sent a hitman out to weaken Danielson, and that hitman is 7-foot-4 giant Satnam Singh.
Ahead of their might on tonight’s May 22 episode of AEW Dynamite, Danielson has reacted to the challenge he faces in the form of Satnam Singh, tweeting:
The Elite put a price on my head, and now tomorrow night I’ll go 1 on 1 with @hellosatnam on #AEWDynamite at @MechanicsBArena in Bakersfield, CA.

Is Satnam the biggest man I’ve ever wrestled?!!! I LOVE these types of challenges @AEW pic.twitter.com/Cjc1z3c65u
The match will be Singh’s first ever singles match in AEW, and only his third on Dynamite in total.
Danielson recently revealed that he will have to undergo surgery “pretty soon” for a neck injury.
It has also been reported that Danielson’s current AEW contract expires before AEW All In which takes place in London, England on August 25, 2024.
Despite the contract expiring ahead of the AEW PPV, Danielson has stated he wants to “make it to Wembley.”
With Danielson talking about being in his final year as a full-time wrestler, he has recently said he wants to transition to being a part-time performer.
Danielson sees his last match as a full-time wrestler as taking place at AEW WrestleDream in October 2024.
