Current AEW World Champion Swerve Strickland feels The Acclaimed will be looking to step up in the Blood & Guts Match.

On the July 24 edition of AEW Dynamite, the company will hold their fourth Blood & Guts Match.
The Elite’s Kazuchika Okada, Jack Perry, The Young Bucks and Hangman Adam Page will face Team AEW’s Swerve Strickland, Mark Briscoe, The Acclaimed and Darby Allin in the two-ring steel cage match.

Ahead of tonight’s Dynamite, Swerve Strickland spoke with Chase McCabe on the The Chase & Big Joe Show. Previewing the Blood & Guts Match, Swerve said:
“[Fans] can expect a lot of crazy maneuvers. They can expect something wild from Darby Allin. Always.”
“I feel like the underdogs right now are The Acclaimed. I feel they’re looking to step up and prove once again why they are one of the biggest names in All Elite Wrestling and the wrestling industry, period. Expect something big from The Acclaimed,”

After Blood & Guts, Strickland will move on to defend the AEW World Championship against Bryan Danielson on Sunday, August 25 at AEW All In London.
