The first ever AEW match for Mercedes Mone was announced during tonight’s April 3 episode of Dynamite in Worcester, Massachusetts.

In an interview segment on the stage, Willow Nightingale spoke to Renee Paquette about her time on the independent scene in Worcester.
With the crowd very engaged with Nightingale, she cut a passionate promo about having found confidence and also being ready to become the face of TBS when she faces Julia Hart for the TBS Championsip at AEW Dynasty.
However, she would be interrupted by Mercedes Mone as the ‘CEO’ made a big announcement.
Mone wished Willow Nightingale luck against Julia Hart at AEW Dynasty and noted that regardless of the outcome, she would be next in line for a title shot.

Specifically referencing Vegas, it sounds as though Mercedes Mone has already called her shot for Double or Nothing on pay-per-view, which was then confirmed by commentary.
AEW Double or Nothing has been announced for Sunday, May 26, from the MGM Grand Garden Arena.
Dynasty takes place in St Louis on April 21.

Mone could of course end up making an in-ring debut before Double Or Nothing comes around, but this is the first match for her that’s been confirmed as of right now.
Elsewhere on tonight’s AEW Dynamite, the show started with a fiery promo from Adam Copeland seemingly responding to CM Punk’s recent comments about AEW.
