Mercedes Mone has now commented on her upcoming title match, which was confirmed during the AEW Dynasty pay-per-view.

The TBS Championship changed hands during Sunday’s (April 21) pay-per-view, with Willow Nightingale pinning Julia Hart to win the gold.
Mercedes Mone interrupted Willow’s title celebration, entering the ring and dancing before a graphic for AEW Double or Nothing was shown on the screen.
At the May 26 event, Mone will challenge for Nightingale’s TBS Championship.

Mone has now taken to Twitter to share the graphic, and a message ahead of her AEW debut. She wrote:

At the time of writing, Mone hasn’t wrestled since arriving in AEW during the March 16 Dynamite Big Business show.
Her most recent match was interestingly against Willow Nightingale, with Willow defeating Mercedes for the NJPW STRONG Women’s Title at the May 2023 NJPW Resurgence show.
Mone suffered an ankle injury during this match.

At Dynasty, Willow Nightingale became the fourth ever TBS Champion, following Jade Cargill, Kris Statlander and Julia Hart.
Mercedes Mone will have the opportunity to become the fifth ever holder of that title at Double or Nothing.
