Former AEW Women’s World Champion Britt Baker made her return at tonight’s June 30 Forbidden Door pay-per-view event.

In the third from last match on the night, Mercedes Mone faced Stephanie Vaquer with both Mone’s TBS Championship and Vaquer’s NJPW Women’s Strong Women’s Championship on the line.
Mone picked up the win to become a double champion, but her celebration was short-lived.

While she was in the ring holding up both belts, her music was cut off by that of former AEW Women’s World Champion Britt Baker.
Baker came out onto the stage and did exchange looks with Mone, but she didn’t approach the ring and instead just walked to the back after a couple of minutes.

Baker had been away from AEW TV since September 2023 due to injury issues.
With All In London at Wembley Stadium coming up on August 25 as AEW’s next pay-per-view, Mone vs Baker looks to potentially be a direction for that show.
In other women’s division news tonight at AEW Forbidden Door, Toni Storm retained the Women’s World Championship against Mina Shirakawa.
