Big departure from AEW confirmed

There was a big departure from AEW that has been confirmed in a new report including who made the call for the change.

In a report from the Wrestling Observer, news of a shake up backstage at AEW in the production department that is notable.
According to the report from Dave Meltzer, Vice President of Post Production Kevin Sullivan was let go from AEW today, in what was described as “major news behind the scenes”.

Per the report it was was Senior Vice President and Co-Executive Producer Mike Mansury who made the call.
Sullivan was said to have been highly thought of backstage and had been with All Elite Wrestling since the early days of the company, having come to AEW from Impact.

With Sullivan integral to building “the entire AEW post production team”, the report notes that “there are a lot of questions going on,” regarding the details.
The report comes amid continues discourse regarding the shifting ‘feeling’ in AEW from the beginnings of the company in 2019 – something QT Marshall seemed to cite as a reason for his resignation as well.
