WWE World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins has commented on Will Ospreay’s current rise in All Elite Wrestling.

Rollins infamously traded social media jabs with Ospreay back in 2019, with him taking shots at Ospreay’s bank account compared to Seth’s, a comment which he later apologised for.
Seth attempted to tease Ospreay to WWE during his free agency late last year, with Ospreay ultimately signing with AEW, and very quickly becoming one of the company’s very top stars.
Speaking to Cameron Hawkins of The Ringer, Rollins commented on the current rise of Ospreay in the wrestling world.

He said:
“[He] is absolutely one of the best performers in the world, and I’m happy that he is finally, you know, getting to the very top level in our industry.”

Rollins was then asked why he initially felt the need to take shots at Ospreay in 2019, noting that he was taking up for the WWE family, and the work they all put in.
He responded:
“Well, not everybody has taken this stance over the years, but to me, WWE is my home, right? These people that I go to battle with every week on these live events and these TVs—and I’m not talking just the talent; I’m talking about the whole team, the production, the creative—love it or hate it, we’re the best. I’ve been a proponent of these people in my family and had their back for years because I believe that, and I believe in the work we all put together to make this industry the best it possibly can be.”

Ospreay is set for a first time ever dream match with Bryan Danielson at AEW Dynasty on April 21.
Rollins will compete in his first official WrestleMania main event on WrestleMania Saturday, teaming with Cody Rhodes against The Rock and Roman Reigns.
