Following her recent suspension, a new report has revealed that AEW star Britt Baker is set to appear in major Netflix series, Cobra Kai.
Britt Baker has been at the center of headlines as of late after her recent suspension following a backstage incident with MJF.
The former AEW Women’s World Champion made her return to All Elite Wrestling at the AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door pay-per-view and has been embroiled in a rivalry with TBS Champion Mercedes Mone ever since.
Per PWInsider Elite, Dr. Britt Baker, D.M.D. will soon be appearing on Netflix’s hit series, Cobra Kai for their final season.
The series is a continuation from the Karate Kid film franchise and is in the middle of its sixth and final season.
The report notes that Baker will be playing a character that is described as a “European fighter” on one of the teams competing in a massive international karate tournament known as “Sekai Taikai,” which the final season has been built on.
The AEW star filmed scenes, including fight sequences, prior to her AEW return, which was reportedly delayed in order to allow her to take part in the series. There is no confirmation on how large the role Baker will play in the series at the time of this writing.
The first batch of Cobra Kai episodes for season six are available on Netflix now with it culminating with the cast arriving at the tournament.
Baker will be seen in the later episodes of this season. The second batch of episodes for season six will be released on the platform on November 15.
Britt Baker is scheduled to challenge Mercedes Mone for the AEW TBS Championship on Sunday, August 25 at AEW All In London.
