Bryan Keith signed with All Elite Wrestling in February 2024 after he had already been wrestling for the promotion for a few months.
At AEW Double Or Nothing 2024, Keith turned heel and aligned with Chris Jericho to help him defeat HOOK and Katsuyori Shibata to retain the FTW Championship. Keith officially joined Jericho’s Learning Tree stable with Big Bill as “The Bad Apple” from there, and has remained on AEW programming since.

Speaking on Talk Is Jericho, Bryan Keith was asked to recall his reaction to hearing he was joining The Learning Tree. He answered:
“It was shocking, man. I remember hearing other groups that I would potentially be in, maybe four different groups, and none of them were Learning Tree.”
“Whenever you let me know that I’m possibly gonna be with you guys, man, I remember just [laughs] dropping everything and being like, ‘What? That’s…’”
“Never in a million years. I was trained by Booker T. That is my era of wrestling, Ruthless Aggression era is stuff I grew up on, stuff I feel like is the best product that I watched, and you guys were the reason for that.”
“I’m trained by Booker T, now working with you, so it’s a movie, man. My life is a movie,”

When asked to name which groups he was considered for, Keith replied:
“I think one of them was potentially Shane Taylor Promotions.”
“Another one was, I know they were throwing around maybe House of Black possibly, something like that, I don’t know for sure.”
“Then I don’t remember what the other one was, I just remember it wasn’t you guys, that’s for sure [laughs],”

Bryan Keith is scheduled to face Katsuyori Shibata on the August 7 edition of AEW Dynamite.
