Kevin Owens has shared his honest thoughts on his and Sami Zayn’s WWE Tag Team Title reign, believing that they flew under the radar.

Owens and Zayn’s tag-team championship run had a memorable start, with the best friends defeating The Usos for the gold in the main event of WrestleMania 39 Saturday.
While the duo held the WWE Tag Team Championship for 154 days before dropping the gold to the Judgment Day at Payback 2023, many fans have argued that Owens and Zayn’s reign was lackluster.
During an interview with Mail Sport, Alex McCarthy asked Owens for his thoughts on his and Zayn’s title run.

After shaking his head and asking if McCarthy had another question for him, Owens said:
“Me and Sami worked our asses off to give main events on RAW every week that had people going wild and we succeeded, and I’m not one to toot my own horn, I really am not, but I think Sami and I did a lot of special things as champions that went under the radar because they weren’t on pay-per-views.
“They weren’t under the big bright lights. They were usually on RAW.”

“We had some very special matches. It was great to have that with him (Sami Zayn) regardless of what I wish we could have accomplished.
“One of the things I had said before we won the titles is I hope we were gonna do justice to the run The Usos had with them. I don’t think we got the chance to do that, but it’s certainly not for lack of trying on our part.”

Owens most recently competed in Saturday’s (February 24) Elimination Chamber match, which was ultimately won by Drew McIntyre.
With McIntyre set to challenge for the World Heavyweight Championship at WrestleMania 40, Seth Rollins has provided an update on his injury status.
