WWE Chief Content Officer Triple H has addressed the return of the Tribal Chief Roman Reigns, over two months on from his last match at WrestleMania 40.

After standing atop the WWE for 1316 days, Roman Reigns has been glaringly absent from television since losing his Undisputed WWE Universal Championship to Cody Rhodes in the main event of WrestleMania 40 in Philadelphia.
Since Reigns has been off TV, The Bloodline has undergone drastic changes as the former Tribal Heir Solo Sikoa has taken full control – removing Jimmy Uso from the group and adding in Tama Tonga, Tonga Loa and most recently Jacob Fatu.
This has led the WWE fans to audibly clamor for Reigns to return to TV, with ‘We Want Roman’ chants being heard every week on SmackDown.

When appearing on The Pat McAfee Show, Triple H was asked about when we can expect to see Reigns make his return to TV, to which he said:
“When you talk about Tribal Chief you’re talking about Roman Reigns, no matter who lays claim to that now. You see The Bloodline carrying on, you see Solo putting himself out there as the Tribal Chief, you see Tama Tonga coming in, you see Tonga Loa coming in. You see those guys start to run wild, and then the game changer happens of Jacob Fatu comes in, The Samoan Werewolf. Dude, he’s a game changer.
“You very clearly see that shift of ‘we’re running the show now’ this is the new Tribal Chief, this is the new Head of the Table and this is where it’s headed.
“That’s only going to last so long before there’s a return, I can imagine. Let’s hope that Heyman’s nerves can take it until he comes back. But it’s an exciting time, because that is ramping up incredibly big, now they’re starting to go directly after Cody Rhodes and the WWE Title, you can feel it ramping up.”

In Reigns’ absence WWE’s planned main event for SummerSlam 2024 has seemingly been revealed – click here for full details.
