WWE Raw General Manager Adam Pearce has called out Pat McAfee, following McAfee’s comments during the SummerSlam Kick Off event.

Pearce and McAfee haven’t always seen eye to eye during their time together on the Raw brand, with the commentator often criticising the Raw GM’s management style.
Ahead of SummerSlam, Pearce introduced a rule stating that if CM Punk and Drew McIntyre touch before the August 3 premium live event, their singles match scheduled for the event would be called off.
After Michael Cole brought up this rule during the SummerSlam Kick Off event, Pat McAfee referred to Pearce as a “big bald stooge”. He later shared a clip of this moment to Twitter, which Pearce has now responded to.

Challenging McAfee to criticise him to his face, Pearce wrote:

With Pearce butting heads with both McAfee and Drew McIntyre recently, there has been some speculation about Pearce potentially returning to the ring for another one-off match.
The five-time NWA World Heavyweight Champion last wrestled on the March 1, 2021 edition of Raw, when he and Braun Strowman lost to the Hurt Business in tag-team action.
