Jey Uso has responded to his father Hall of Famer Rikishi’s criticisms surrounding his current WWE booking.

While Jey Uso was elevated as a singles wrestler during his time with the Bloodline on SmackDown, the Anoa’i/Fatu family member is currently going solo on Monday Night Raw, away from the Bloodline storyline.
Rikishi recently criticised WWE for how they’re using his son Jey on his Rikishi Off The Top podcast, saying:

“I have hair on the back of my neck (standing up) every time I watch him. SummerSlam, where is he? ‘I don’t know, let’s write him in, he likes Mami.’ That’s the best the writer’s got? ‘Let’s write him into a relationship with Mami’, what y’all trying to do, break his marriage up?
“You can’t put him into a good storyline so what you gonna do now? God forbid you guys try to tell them to tongue kiss each other on WWE Raw. S**t that better not happen.”

Speaking on the Ringer Wrestling Show, Jey Uso noted that he has told his dad to enjoy the show, and let him work.
Jey said:
“He just said what he said about my creative. I’m like, ‘Dad. Just watch the show. Let me work, Dad. Let me go out and work, enjoy the show. Make your rap track.’ That’s pops, though. Shoutout to my dad. Yeah, sometimes he’ll cross it.”

It has been heavily speculated that Roman Reigns will return at SummerSlam, where Solo Sikoa is set to challenge for Cody Rhodes’ Undisputed WWE Championship.
